What's the difference between the Checker and the Review Queue?
Drug Interaction Checker is a quick, informal lookup — no patient record involved, sourced from an external drug database. Interaction Review Queue is for checks tied to a specific patient that need a pharmacist's formal sign-off. Use the Checker for a fast "can these be combined" question; use the patient-linked check when it needs to be part of the record.
"At least 2 medications are required for interaction checking"
Checking a specific list of medications for a patient requires at least 2 — if you only want to check one drug against a patient's existing regimen, check their whole active medication list instead rather than listing just one.
Why does an interaction show up that I didn't check for myself?
Some checks run automatically — for example, when a medication is added to a patient's record elsewhere in the app. Look at how the check was triggered (shown on the interaction) before assuming it was manually requested.
Can a patient see or acknowledge an interaction?
Acknowledgement is tracked as its own flag, separate from your review decision — see Interaction Review Queue. An interaction can be approved by you but not yet acknowledged by the patient, or vice versa.
