Downgrading Your Plan
How to move to a cheaper plan — the free Starter plan or a lower-priced paid tier — and what you lose access to.
"Downgrading" means two different things in PharmacyCopilot, depending on where you're headed:
Downgrading to Starter (free)
Choosing Starter from My Subscription doesn't ask for payment — there's nothing to pay for a free plan. Confirming the switch is handled the same way as cancelling your paid subscription: you keep your current plan's features for a 7-day grace period, then your workspace moves to Starter's limits and features once that period ends. Downgrading between two paid plans (Network → Pharmily)
If you're on Network and want to move to the cheaper Pharmily plan, this is not a scheduled or gradual change — it works exactly like subscribing or upgrading: you're charged for Pharmily immediately, your Network plan is cancelled the moment Pharmily activates, and a new billing period starts from that point.
There's no credit for time remaining on your current Network billing period, and no option to "schedule" the downgrade for your renewal date — if you downgrade mid-cycle, you lose the unused portion of what you already paid for Network. If timing matters, wait until close to your renewal date before downgrading.
What you lose
Moving to a lower tier removes access to whatever that tier doesn't include — check Pricing & Plans Comparison for the exact feature list per plan. Moving from Network to Pharmily, for example, means losing unlimited users/locations (capped at 5 users, 1 location on Pharmily), role-based access control, custom patient portal branding, and priority support. Moving to Starter loses messaging, patient portal, and every AI-powered clinical tool.
Your data itself isn't deleted when you downgrade — records you created on a higher tier stay in your account; you simply lose the tools that created or use tier-specific data going forward.
