Reviewing an AI Interpretation Case
The AI's interpretation, therapy recommendations, and safety checks — with your approve/modify/reject/escalate decision.
Pharmily+
Once a case has been AI-interpreted, this is where a pharmacist reviews the output before it's acted on.
What you see
- AI interpretation of the lab values, with a severity read (critical, significant, moderate, minimal, or normal)
- Therapy recommendations — suggested actions like start, stop, adjust dose, monitor, or continue a medication, each with a confidence level (strong, moderate, weak)
- Safety checks — flags for drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, renal/hepatic dosing concerns, or duplicate therapy, each rated critical/major/moderate/minor
- Medication adjustment suggestions — dose increase/decrease, frequency change, discontinuation, new medication, or formulation change
Your decision
- Approve — accept the interpretation as-is
- Modify — accept with changes
- Reject — don't act on it
- Escalate — send to physician escalation rather than deciding yourself
After deciding
An approved or modified recommendation moves to implemented, then completed once fully actioned. A case can also be routed for physician escalation directly from here when the finding warrants it.
History
Once resolved, a case appears in Approved Lab Integrations.
