Understanding MTR Access Requirements
Two separate things both have to be true before you can use MTR — plan tier and staff permission.
Medication Therapy Review requires two independent things to be true at once — if either is missing, you're blocked, but with a different message depending on which one.
1. Your workspace's plan
MTR is included on Pharmily and Network, not Starter. If your workspace is on Starter, you'll see an upgrade prompt — see Pricing & Plans Comparison.
2. Your staff permission
Separately from the plan, your specific account needs permission to use MTR within your workspace. Even on a Pharmily/Network workspace, an individual staff account without this permission sees a permission-denied screen instead of the upgrade prompt. If you believe you should have access, ask whoever manages roles at your workspace to grant it.
These two checks are genuinely independent — being on the right plan doesn't automatically grant every staff member access, and having the right permission doesn't help if the workspace itself is on Starter. If you're troubleshooting "why can't I access MTR," check which of the two is actually the blocker before assuming it's the other.
