Resolving Drift
Auto-corrects module-total drift — but customer/supplier balance drift always needs a manual journal entry.
Attempts to correct drift found by the Reconciliation Health Check.
This does not resolve every kind of drift automatically. For module-total drift (where a whole module's running total is off), Resolve posts a correcting journal entry for you. For customer and supplier balance drift specifically, this is a deliberate design choice, not a bug: that kind of drift can go in either direction (cached too high or too low), so it's always reported for a human to review rather than auto-corrected. Clicking Resolve won't make a customer/supplier balance discrepancy disappear — you'll need to post a manual journal entry once you've confirmed which figure is actually right.
