Starting a Stock Take

Begin counting on a created stock take session.

Starting is a separate step from creating the session — a session can be scheduled ahead of time and started when counting actually begins.

A session must be in the right status to start — attempting to start one that's already running or finished is rejected with "Stock take cannot be started. Current status: {status}."

Set up a physical stock count, with scope, counters, and approval settings.

Enter the physical count for each product in the session.
