Encounter Wizard Step 3: Medication Review

Review the patient's current medications during the encounter, and add or remove one if needed.

Starter+

Step 3 shows the patient's current medications so you can review them alongside the vitals you just entered — and add or remove a medication right from the wizard if the visit calls for it.

What you see

Every active medication from the patient's record, pulled from both PharmacyCopilot's medication systems and merged into one list — you don't need to check two places.

Adding a medication from here

Add a drug name, strength, frequency, route, and indication directly in this step — it's saved to the patient's medication record immediately, not just to this encounter.

Removing a medication

Removing a medication here is a soft removal — it's marked cancelled, not deleted. It stops showing as active going forward, but stays visible in the patient's medication history and in any past encounter that referenced it.
