Price Override
Change a line item's unit price on a sale, with a required reason.
Overrides the unit price of one line item on a sale.
Fields
- Item — which line item on the sale
- New unit price
- Reason (required, 3–500 characters)
Permission
This is a separate, elevated permission from regular sale creation — not every staff member who can ring up a sale can override its pricing. Overrides only apply to sales in an eligible status; you can't override pricing on a voided or already-refunded sale.
