Shift Detail
A shift's starting cash, sales activity, and ending summary.
Shows a shift's starting cash, the sales activity recorded during it, and — once ended — its final cash summary.
Reading the screen
- Summary cards — Total Sales, Total Refunds, Net Sales, Expenses.
- Sales Summary — a breakdown by payment method: Cash Sales, Card Sales, Transfer Sales.
- Shift Information — shift number, location, status, duration, who started/ended it and when.
- Cash Reconciliation — Starting Cash, Ending Cash, Expected Cash, and Discrepancy (Ending minus Expected — green if positive, red if negative), plus any notes left when the shift was ended.
Export and Print don't do anything yet — selecting either has no effect. This is a confirmed gap in the current build, not something you're doing wrong.
While the shift is active
End Shift appears only while the shift is active — see Ending a Shift. You can also hand it over to another staff member without ending it.
